The Litecoin Foundation has entered into a partnership with premier kickboxing league GLORY to become the official cryptocurrency of the stand-up combat league.

As part of the partnership, Glory, formerly Glory World Series, will integrate Litecoin into its online merchandise platform, allowing GLORY fans in the US and Europe to use LTC to access exclusive offers, including athlete meet-and-greets, backstage arena tours, limited-edition merchandise and premium in-arena seating. Litecoin will also receive global exposure across GLORY events, broadcast and social media.

“A partnership with Litecoin, which offers one of the fastest transaction confirmation speeds of any cryptocurrency, makes perfect sense for GLORY and our fans as we continue to put on the fastest fight action in the combat sports world,” said GLORY CEO Marshall Zelaznik. “With both companies also being young, dynamic and achieving consistent growth, GLORY could not have found a more fitting cryptocurrency partner.”

Litecoin said that it partnered with GLORY because the league has been gaining a lot of momentum recently, and its recent partnership with UFC Fight Pass as the exclusive broadcast home for the organization’s events in the US only furthers its reach.

“GLORY has a growing worldwide fan base that consists in large part of a younger demographic who are early adopters of technology and conduct much of their lives online – from consuming content to purchasing products,” said Charlie Lee, founder of the Litecoin Foundation. “As GLORY continues to grow, tapping into their global audience and educating them about Litecoin through real world use cases can be powerful.”
