Swisscom Blockchain Names Roger Wuthrich-Hasenbohler As New CEO

Roger Wuthrich-Hasenbohler is the new CEO of Swisscom Blockchain, replacing Daniel Haudenschild, who is leaving the company. Wuthrich-Hasenbohler, formerly the chief digital officer and head of digital business at Swisscom, takes over as acting CEO immediately.

Swisscom Blockchain, a subsidiary of Swisscom, offers blockchain-related consulting and project services. Its customers include Raiffeisenbank, the Swiss Canton of Glarus, and Falcon Bank. The company has 30 employees.

Among its businesses are the Tokenization Launchpad, an application for generating tokens, and Blockchain Academy, which provides training.

Swisscom Blockchain’s infrastructure runs on the Hyperledger Fabric platform, but is also working on a private blockchain. Its first pilot applications are planned to debut in the second quarter.
