Digital Garage collaborates with Blockstream on new blockchain solutions for Japanese market

Digital Garage (DG), a context company that covers web business advice, research, web creation, and enhancement, agreed with Blockstream to jointly develop a new blockchain-based platform and products for the Japanese market.

Japanese company Kakaku.com and financial services company Credit Saison will be joining the initiative to accelerate the developments and growths of varied value-based exchange programs and regional currencies. In the agreement between DG and Blockstream, DG will be working to accelerate the development of blockchain-based products at the ‘DG Lab’, an open innovation R&D organization.

DG Lab will be adopting Blockstream’s Sidechain technology for three mid and long term projects. The projects include; a Real-time Exchange System, a Regional Money System and Machine Automated Contracts platform. The focus of Real-time Exchange System will be on managing credit card loyalty points, digital currency and electronic money/prepaid values.
