Purse Partners with BlinkTrade to Promote Bitcoin Adoption

Bitcoin-based marketplace Purse has partnered with BlinkTrade Exchange Network, expanding its reach into several new countries.

Purse is known for offering Amazon.com shopping discounts, and the partnership could accelerate global bitcoin adoption. The company has existing partnerships in India and Europe, and its BlinkTrade partnership adds exposure via exchanges in Vietnam, Pakistan, Brazil, Chile, and Venezuela.

BlinkTrade exchange users will be educated by Purse on how buy products at a discount and convert unneeded Amazon gift card balances to bitcoin, according to the announcement.

A Purse statement indicated that BlinkTrade’s network “has exchange locations in key geographic areas where bitcoin adoption is expanding rapidly. Through this joint collaboration, we plan to promote our service through their exchange platform, in hopes to incentivize further adoption of bitcoin throughout the various regions in which their exchanges operate. The ability for our users to quickly and easily purchase bitcoin is an important aspect of adoption, and we’re glad to be doing our part thanks to BlinkTrade.”
