Btcbox, MBK Team to Enter Hong Kong
Japan bitcoin exchange Btcbox will create a Honk Kong subsidiary in conjunction with countrymen MBK Co. Ltd. investment bank. The subsidiary will be called MBK Asia Limited.
Bolstered by a strong Japanese market in cryptocurrency, Btcbox has been expanding its offerings beyond bitcoin and had its first profitable month in May.
In addition to providing a platform for buying and selling cryptocurrency, the subsidiary plans to provide remittance and settlement services to the financial markets.
