Credit Unions Set to Unveil Blockchain Project

A consortium of credit unions is set to demonstrate a new blockchain solution next week.

The so-called “CULedger” project involves more than 50 credit unions and four credit union service organizations. The project is the brainchild of the Credit Union National Association and Mountain West Credit Union Association (MWCUA).

The technology is blockchain exchange for money and information, according to the consortium. The demonstration will take place at a May 9 industry event in Tucson, Arizona.
