Innovate Finance Sets Pitch360 Finalists

Innovate Finance, a UK-based FinTech membership association, has announced the finalists for its first FinTech startup competition.

The event, Pitch360, is scheduled for day two of the organization’s Global Summit 2017 at Guildhall London on Tuesday, April 11.

Pitch360 offers a 360-second (six minute) pitch of a new business and product in front of a live audience of influencers, investors and media professionals as well as access to Innovate Finance’s member community.

The competition will see the startups competing in eight categories, which includes Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cross Border Payments, Cyber Security, Financial Inclusion, Personal Finance, Peer-to-Peer and Alternative Funding, and RegTech.

The finalists for Pitch360 in the following eight categories include:

 Artificial intelligence – Equity X, FNA, Quantiacs
 Blockchain – Applied Blockchain, Block Ex, Juru
 Cross Border Payments – APEXX, MangoPay
 Cyber Security – The ID Co, Guard Square, OnDMarc
 Financial Inclusion – Nous Global Markets
 Personal Finance – FA Solutions, Moxtra, Oval Money
 Peer-to-Peer and Alternative Funding – AssetBar, Fint
 RegTech – Onfido, QumRam, Quantexa

Judges for the event include Brett King, bestselling author and presenter of the Breaking Banks podcast; Kosta Peric, Deputy Director, Financial Services for the Poor at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Maria Gotsch, President and CEO at the Partnership Fund for New York City; and Rumi Morales, Executive Director and Head, CME Ventures at CME Group.

The winner will be given £10,000 in prize money; a press package that includes media introductions and training, policy and legal advice; one year’s complimentary membership to Innovate Finance; and two complimentary tickets to the 2018 Innovate Finance Global Summit.
