Rivetz has teamed with Telefonica USA to improve mobile device security. The partnership will allow Rivetz to immediately integrate Telefonica’s CyberThreats Detection & Response Service.

Rivetz is a provider of mobile, decentralized security solutions for business customers worldwide. The company offers a number of applications and a developer tool kit to enable a broad range of services, from enhanced multi-factor authentication capability with integrated cybersecurity controls to full integration with modern FinTech and blockchain solutions.

Telefonica USA, a subsidiary of Telefonica Business Solutions, provides a wide range of integrated communication solutions for the B2B market of the Telefonica Group.

The CyberThreats Detection & Response Service is designed for organizations and individuals that need protection against a wide range of cyber threats, such as information leaks, hacktivism, security breaches, credentials theft and other sources of identity disruption.

“Telefonica is a powerful addition to our provider portfolio,” said Rivetz CEO Steven Sprague. “Their strong presence in Spain, Europe and Latin America, combined with their innovative solutions, Tier 1 network, and superior customer service, make them an ideal fit to provide advanced cyber security controls to support a new RvT powered global network of secured endpoints.”

Last month, Rivetz raised $5.5 million USD (19,000 ETH) in a private presale of its Rivet (RvT) token, a cybersecurity token developed to provide verifiable security controls for cloud authentication, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and legacy financial transactions.

The token enables authentication across devices at the transaction and authentication level. The solution uses technology already built into millions of mobile devices and uses safeguards against malware to prevent alterations or theft of keys and transactions.
