The AdEx network is joining China’s biggest blockchain, the NEO smart contracts system, becoming its first decentralized application, or DApp.

AdEx is a smart contract system that has a one-stop advertising exchange for publishers, advertisers and end-users. By joining with NEO (formerly known as Antshares), often called the Chinese equivalent of the ethereum blockchain, AdEx hopes to propigate itself faster and farther than it can as a stand-alone.

NEO has recently been on a tear, rising in the cryptocurrency rankings for market cap and trading volume. This morning, it sat at $45.94 per token on the Coinmarketcap.com index.

“We see the huge potential of NEO and this is why we are aiming at becoming the first NEO-based DApp,” said Ivo Georgiev, the CEO of AdEx.

AdEx will soon release its exchange prototype, with a target date of February, 2018 for public availability.
