Bitcoin platform BitInka is planning to expand its services to Asian, Oceanic, and North American nations. It also plans to take its Latin American services to the bitcoin markets of Paraguay and Mexico.

Founded in 2013, Bitinka is designed to facilitate bitcoin purchasing and selling across Latin America. The company aims to provide a platform for users without any prior knowledge about the currency. Bitinka currently offers services to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Peru, Venezuela, and the United States, and offers bitcoin trading in native currencies.

Bitinka said that its bitcoin-based payment app, Inkapay, will see significant expansions beginning in July. Inkapay will be implementing credit card integration next month, in addition to new APIs designed for e-commerce integration. The company is also set to launch a mobile version of its Inkapay app in September.

Bitinka also reported significant growth in customer use during 2017. The company said it has seen an average monthly growth of 44%. Bitinka is anticipating further growth following the implementation of credit card integration and e-commerce API across Bitinka’s services.

“The platform has a very important advantage that no other exchange on the planet offers: the possibility of buying bitcoins in your local currency… our users do not have to think about making international transfers to be able to recharge their balances in their respective accounts,” said Bitinka founding partner Roger Gabriel. “Another important point to consider is our local presence, with offices and extensive integration with the most important banks in each of the countries where we operate, which not only provides us with a better response capacity, but also provides the security and confidence of operating with a local company that has the necessary structure to deal with any unforeseen events.”
