FundYourselfNow Announces Q1 2018 Launch
br>Global cryptocurrency crowdfunding platform FundYourselfNow is now under construction, with a target date to launch anticipated for the first quarter of 2018.
FundYourselfNow is a crowdfunding platform that aims to simplify the crowdfunding process, using the latest innovations in blockchain technologies and virtual currencies. The company said that its product allows project creators to request funding and to reward backers. FundYourselfNow claims that its platform will allow project creators/promoters to raise funds for their projects using cryptocurrencies without the need of technical knowledge.
The platform is being built over an ethereum platform and a significant portion of the site has already been completed, with preparations to introduce bitcoin support in the future through Rootstock, according to the company.
“With the recent mainstream acceptance of virtual currencies, such as bitcoin, we want to build an ecosystem that offers entrepreneurs an alternative fundraising platform for their product with minimal (need for) technical and marketing knowledge,” said FundYourselfNow CEO Jack Ser.
The platform has successfully closed an initial seed funding round led by investor Carlo Salas, an accomplished businessman with directorship positions in multiple global companies. He was recently chosen as the CEO of Hong Kong-listed entity Success Dragon International.
“We believe that FundYourselfNow addresses many existing problems in the traditional crowdfunding model, such as accountability, high transaction costs, and lack of project support,” said Salas. “FundYourselfNow has capable people, process innovators, and expert domain knowledge for successful execution.”
The seed money will be used by FundYourselfNow to continue the platform’s development and offer project creators cryptocurrency-backed funding through their crowdfunding campaigns. The platform has also scheduled an initial coin offering (ICO) that will bow on June 2, offering an opportunity for investors to be a part of the new crowdfunding movement.
